“Secrets of the Masters,” is a short film included on the Kung Fu Panda 2 Blu Ray.
Winner of the 2011 Annie Award for Best Animated Special Production.
It was made with a ton of awesome folks at Duncan studio in association with Dreamworks.
I was a compositor on this short and composited most of the lava sequence.
That meant taking all the beautiful backgrounds, tradtional animation and placing it together in After Effects, placing it in a 3D plane and adding some sweet effects to give it an extra layer of awesome sauce.
